Hey there,
Are you aware of any restrictions for blogging which would not allow me to have ads in my blogs. I am not aware of these kind of things if they exist.

I am testing lotta of things with my blog (http://aboos.blogspot.com/) and how it would be helpful for me. I tried to use the space provided by them for some advertising, which is at this moment under testing phase. Like I want to see how useful it can be etc.

But I also want to make sure that its all good

Yep, you can treat your blog just like any of your other "regular" websites. My blog has adsense ads too: http://www.viciousenterprises.com/summersblog :D

Think of the internet as a collection of web pages rather than web sites in common practice and things will seem a lot more clear, a lot of things...

Google would love it if you put adsense on your blogger blog.

Oh I see, but I have read that because of all the titles, alt tags, anchors having some or the other text related to 'blog' word, we see more blog ads. Like I saw in the template code, it was all about Blog, even many variables in the code. I tried to modify it and it was all messed up ;).

But when I change the content on any other site like this (http://stockmarket.cjb.net), the change in Ads takes place in few minutes.

I waited for adsense ads on blog, and pissed off. Finally I hosted few affiliate ads like jevene, lowermybills, start logic webhosting etc. Atleast one purchase thru my blog will give me good amount of $$ than collecting cents. (this does not mean that adsense does not pay me enough ;))

Yeah, it finally worked. My blogs are showing up the ads relative to the content now. And no more blog ads. I guess still they stick to the same content once they get associated with, they do not consider any other content added or changed. Probably the ads will only change when the content is removed from the page. Is it so?

Try to show words in your blog that you would like ads for... If you want mesothelioma ads (which are going for about $52 right now), write about mesothelioma, but keep in mind, people that come to your site may not be interested in mesothelioma enough to click on it.

Blogger is really popular with people know because Google endorses Adsense on it. Alot of the good subdomains for Blogger (xxx.blogspot.com) are taken. :(

I think g00gle has made changes to its ad-sen_se algo so that it is very hard to get thosee very high paying ads to dsiplay, even if your content is well optimized. I think they're trying to crack down on all those webmasters trying to cash in on the high paying keywords/keyphrases.

Yes surely. I have a meso blog, and I observed that meso ads dont pay as much as its hyped. The simple reason I see is, Google dont want to have small websites to cash on these high paying words...

I am just looking for something where template modification is UI based.
