Hi,

bought this domain last month.. haven't really done anything on it and no plans as well. I am considering selling this domain if I get a good offer.

Domain is registered at globat.

Any body interested in giving offer?

Are you selling this for any Preset BIN price?
or is this a type of auction?

Just taking offers..
If I decide to sell, I'll contact the highest bidder for that.

There is no BIN and starting bid.

Amit's out, so it looks that way ;)

May be worth your while to hold it and develop the site perhaps? If it starts ranking well in the various contests then you'd be able to sell it for more.

If you're happy to sell for $12 then we'll get Rob to toss a coin and decide which of us gets it.

I'm not fussed either way but thought it might be a handy url to have to support http://www.watching-paint-dry.com/carcasherdotcom-seocontest/

Dear sarak

Are you also a spammer??

I looked at carcrashers supposed seo contest in where the winner is the one who can get the domain to rank 1st on Google..

Well any SEO worth two salts will tell you that the domain name of a site will often appear as the number 1 result...so if you search for digitalpoint this site will come up first in Google search results..

Your little car salesman friend like most car salesmen it seems... is a con artist as well....

spam spam spam

I hate spam:mad:

SEO contest???

not really

One wonders why you bought the domain in the first place if you dislike the concept so much.

the original seo contest (http://sarahk.pcpropertymanager.com/blog/seo-challenge/11/) was about on page optimisation as much as linking. The algo has changed and so linking (and it's poor relation, spam) has become more important.

But no, I'm not a spammer, I don't enter on my own behalf, but support a charity fundraising and awareness team - and I'm proud to part of their white hats (http://www.watching-paint-dry.com/v7ndotcom-elursrebmem/white-hats/) group.

As for the owner of the site, I have no idea who it is and therefore have no idea of the ethics or morality of that person. If you have evidence that the carcasher competition is part of a con then I'm happy to help you blow the whistle, but PM me as there may be legal implications for making public claims before they are proven.

I too have plans to make it my contest only site :D
Currently my entry is ranking in msn for cacasherdotcom seocontest .. so at this point I am hesitating from migrating to seo-contest.com

No worries, just let me know when you hear from Globat, I'd like to get it transfered to Godaddy if possible

seolion

even I wanted it to be transferred to my godaddy account.. I need to wait for another 15 days if I have to do an outbound transfer.

Hi Matt,

No reply from them.. I thought I 'll give the account itself to you, but I found that my my credit card info is attached to it.. :(
I had to spend another 8.99$ just to test it ( the domain got extended by another 1 year)

So now I have to check some other options like transferring it to my godaddy a/c , or directly allow the buyer to transfer it directly to his a/c.

I don't mind waiting the 15 days for an outbound transfer if that's okat with you? It'll probably be easier in the long run :)
