One of my main adsense source is a forum site, and both CTR and CPM is extremely low on that site. Everybody says forums have low CTR/CPM. Anybody has any suggestions how to improve that?
(I've around 50-100 thousand page impressions a day on the forum I'm talking about, due to adsense TOS, I can't give CTR/CPM numbers, but they're terrible).

Payment approved! A record month! And this month is going to be another record! =)
Onestop, I have a forum type site that does pretty well. What I do is try to integrate my ads right in the text as much as I can. Which site in your sig is the culprit? I'll take a look.

How you guys manage to have big figures. I just started with using adsense. I am completely novice in that. Few tips would be very useful for me. ;).

I second that (traffic). Make sure your pages are at the very least SEO standard. Then focus on creating good content, features to keep your visitors coming back (forums, blogs, etc), and good ad placement.

mine approved tooo. I logged into my adsense after 3 months today, I just let it run and have a surprise check come to me every month. It's fun to see money in the mailbox, and u do not know how much it is. Suprises are great ;)

What is the forum OS? I have found it is all about placement. The moment I moved my ads to after the first post, the CTR and overall clicks went up. Forums are tough, unless you are DP :)
PS: Approval was 2 days ago...

even shawn admits that he doesn't make all that much, even with such an active forum as this. He said he got somewhere in the neighborhood of $500 in revenue from DPF monthly, I remember it in a thread posted some weeks ago.
From my experience, forum CTR has always been dismal. :o
