Hi everybody,
I just uploaded a new portal (only the first page)
It's colorful, so could you please review its design.
Do you think I can continue to construct the other pages based on the color the sections have on the first page?
Please write your reviews

You may consider using a different color for each category of the website so the section can differentiate.

I would suggest making the whole colored background for each section a link.. Not just the text.. With the site setup like that, I just fel like I should be able to click on the bar..

A good idea, I'll take it into consideration for sure

Thats exactly what I was planning, but I am still confused about the sections, about their outlook, I mean design structure. I haven't decided what will be easy to user friendly. Is there a website that you consider to be user friendly? Please suggest something.

i think it's a new approach
but be aware of your content area !!!
dividing your naviation into 2 panels may be hard for the users to understand and follow, using same color for every 2links may cause the user tot hink both are 1, in brief: you have a big challenge ahead to keep your unusal design and make the content cleam and readable
as we did some new different unusual layout, we found that it's a big chalenge to keep your content area clean with unusual design

Hi newera,
I got what you mean, the thing is that only the first page will be this way, all other pages must be simple, with no extraordinary design.
This is going to be a heavy site with a lot of dynamic content, and we don't want to have much design on it.
Can anyone give some simple outlook ideas. I like the interface of Google. Its easy and very fast loadable. But in our case there will be other images than our logo for sure :)

I'll look for new colors to have all of the sections with different colors

Its an interesting layout, I like it. I would stick with a smaller set of colors, though, like just using shades of blue and green, for example.

I'd cut down on all the colors actually but maybe that's just me.. I like having one or two main colors and then that's it. Can hurt the eyes to have a ton of colors if you're surfing a site for more than a couple of minutes..
I'd also move the news tab to the right and gather all the links to the left.. having the news tab split the links up pretty much puts them in a blindspot.
Pretty clean site otherwise though.

about having a one or two colors, I do like that all the time, but this one I want to go out of what I want :)

You are right if the whole website is like that, but in this case I am going to have only the first page like this, the others will have specific color range for each of the section

Maybe you are right, but in this case it looks nice and original. I'd prefer having icons near each link, don't you think its gonna be better?
Pretty clean site otherwise though.
Thanks, I like clean sites :)

HI again,
I have updated one of the sections and now you can have a clear view of what I am aiming at.
One of the sections that is already online has an icon beside it. I made the news work also.
Could you please go over it again. Look at the AdSense also. Is it done according to Google TOC?
Most of your comments have been taken into account and this is not just a review to click on my site, its really a review. Please take a few minutes of your time and suggest.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
