Need javascript code written

I need a js code that can store info on a cookie, and read it when page is loaded. For example when clicked ads itemNO to a cookie, myitems page displays items that added.

Can anybody help ? I will pay a few bucks for the right code..

thanks wire.. I already had a look at shopping card systems.. I need custom..

crath, session is no good for me, i need the items to stay longer than a day.. a week perhaps.. on client computer in cookie. I know a site that has it but its not in english.
