I'm sure this is old hat for many of you, but I just discovered that if you click on the keywords next to the # of results, the keyword is live-linked to the defintion page at Answers.com. This will save a bunch of time for me.
A little thing probably many of you already know, but I thought I'd share for those who didn't know about.

That is a good feature. Each keyword should be a hyperlink.

Seems very few people knew about this because everyone was interested to know who is in the Top#3 rather than whats links where ;)

All it does is give a definition of the search term? I don't really understand how it will help you that much, but if it does, Hey, glad to hear it.

All it does is give a definition of the search term? I don't really understand how it will help you that much, but if it does, Hey, glad to hear it.

Those pages at Answers.com have definitions from several dictionaries and encyclopedias. It's a great resource when I'm writing.
Of course, I could just do the search in Answer.com to begin with, but this is helpful because my habit is to use Google, and if none of the links give me the data I need, I can just click over to answers.
As far as I know, this doesn't help with SEO, but for freelancers, I think it's a neat timesaver.

yeah, it doesnt help SEO, but it does help my son do his homework.
Google is now a one stop shop for every source of info. no longer do you need encyclopedias

thats a very old feature of google. Its been there for quite some time now.

According to this article (http://searchengineland.com/070803-083203.php), the feature was changes in spring of 2005 from Dictionary.com, but without much fanfare. Apparently a lot of people don't know, because Answers.com is hurting for traffic despite having some of the best advertising space in the world.

I think the problem is the way the page is set up at Answers; you have to scroll down to find all the really obscure stuff, like technical dictionaries and the thesaurus. The site really is a miracle of convenience if you write on a lot of topics and need the correct info every time.
