Hi All,

I have found that the page rank of some of the inner pages of yahoo directory were lowered to 0 in recent Google updation. So Is there any problem with Google search result if I submit my sites in Yahoo directory's inner categories. Will Google penalize the site for submitting in Yahoo's paid directory?

Google openly states on their site that you should submit your site to Quality directories like Yahoo

Nothing like that. Check the Google words in their Link Schemes (http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=66356) -
submit your site to relevant directories such as the Open Directory Project and Yahoo!, as well as to other industry-specific expert sites.

babyboy is right. Google believes Yahoo and DMOZ to be high quality directories.

I doubt that Google will penalize it because Yahool and Google are working closer together than every before.

Google does not penalize for being linked to a site with a low Page Rank. It's who you link to from your website you should be concerned with.

The yahoo paid directory is well respected by google therefore you will not be
penalized for adding your site.
