.ME Domains? Has Anyone Applied?

The Landrush for .ME domains started a few days ago, EuroDNS.com pricing for this extension is

Sunrise: 175 Euros/year (minimum 5 years)
Landrush: 48 Euros/year (minimum 2 years)
GoLive: 24 Euros/year (minimum 2 years)

I can see .ME as an expensive extension, trendy but with no real future in the domain aftermarket.

From my point of view it would be better invest in ASIA domains, specially for those who live in Asia or their goals focus on the Asian market.
