Microsoft trying to buy Yahoo still the big talk in recent tech news. At the end MS backed off. Lot of people think its not over yet. They think MS is waiting until the Yahoo stock prices soar and share holders make a move against the directors of Yahoo.
Recently (before MS backed off) Yahoo and Google did some tests with Google delivered ads on a small part of the Yahoo search results.
Its hard to think of Yahoo and Google working together on the same thing they compete for. Google never wants MS buy Yahoo for reasons. They will do everything they can to stop it. Now Google and Yahoo is talking about partnership based on the experiment they did.
Only thing seems to me is Yahoo is hiding behind Google to stop the sale to MS.
