I have tried to learn php using w3schools and tizag, but don't feel comfortable with php.

Could anyone suggest better sites, to learn advanced php, and good tutorials on building sessions, comments, vote...etc ?
Please I am in interested in good tutorials and good basics not ready scripts from sites like phphotscripts..etc.
I see functions for example are used as a reference. They say: check our reference about functions . But I need functions combined with each other to fully understand them.

Hope to be clear!

Choose a PHP book on Amazon. I read PHP & MySQL Web Development. That's good.

You mean to buy it in amazon. Well I have not the proper ways to buy things over internet right now, but rather than I need a site, I need examples, cause I'd go to school if I needed a book:-)
Any free book?

At beginning I learned PHP on w3school also. I think you can begin to read some easy PHP program code. Go to sourceforge.net, you can find many PHP programs. I suggest you to search "simple forum". It is easy to read and very small. I learned much from it and I believe you can.
