I had godaddy appraise it but I think they are a lot on hte high side:

Yes they are! It's HBO, which stands for something I don't remember.
Althought it's a .name, it is worth from higher $xxx to as high as $2,000!

Well it stands for Home Box Office it is the largest premium cable channel in the USA.
I am surprised it was available.

Are the godaddy apraisals anywhere near accurate ???

They are close... but from my experience with names, they are on the high side... but like I said, $x,xxx isn't a bad price for it!

If you're offered anything like the sums quoted here, I'd sell: you might run into trademark problems before long.

Good one, but you have to check out for Copyright Violations, why don't you contact HBO for the deal :D!
