i have one major question:
how come there are guys offering a 7-30$ submission in Pr4-Pr8 directories when each of these submissions would cost about 50-250$ each?
which is the secret?are those links forever?

One possible reason is that he owns all those directories and thus give you a special price for all of them.

I don't quite follow. There are lots of free PR4 and PR5 directories, even featured ads cost way less than $50.

Give me a sample of such offers, i'll try to estimate it. Sometimes this is a good deal, sometimes this is a just submition without guarantee, sometimes it a scam.

Usually there is no guarantee of acceptance. Also, the directory home page might be PR4 or 5 but the page your free listing sits on certainly won't be. Can still be worth doing though, since a lot of links with a little PR adds up to something eventually.

he just submitting them and the approval is up to the owner of that pr4 to pr8 directories.. thats why the price is 7-30$

Some people know what directories accept links most of the time so they just submit to those and charge less so they get the job. I do not think they can promise site will be listed unless they actualy own the directories

I agree with you. Sometimes even after months the listings don't show but you can't resubmit either.
