How do people get there website or blogs in google blog search

Propably they have a db with all websites with 'blog' as keyword. Besides that they probably search subdomains of blog hosters such as blogspot.com

I think its automatic MadKad. I get some good traffic from there and as far as I know I didnt do anything special.

I think we discussed something about this in V7 and also the connections with answers.com - another place that I started getting traffic from.

How do I get my blog listed?

If your blog publishes a site feed in any format and automatically pings an updating service (such as Weblogs.com), we should be able to find and list it. Also, we will soon be providing a form that you can use to manually add your blog to our index, in case we haven't picked it up automatically. Stay tuned for more information on this.

Hmmmm... The googlebot hits me soon after I do a ping - maybe they are coincidental.

Ah - try this also -> www.google.com/reader/

I have my feed in that to make sure google can read it. Maybe that is related??

could be i will look, I have google on my site all the time so i wouldnt know if the pinggoat helps with that but i know it doesnt help with visitors in any way well not for me
