$30 Header Contest

I am looking to have a header designed for a client. This will be for a freight company. (A logistics broker). As I will be showing all entries to my client, please watermark with only the word "watermark".

Header should be 800 x 150 pixels in size. The name of the company is Aable Logistics Inc. and the tagline is Transportation Management Services.

A semi truck or a road (or both) maybe a good idea. Something that would represent the shipment of goods via semi truck. I will leave the interpretation of this up to you as I do not want to stifle creativity. If you have some other unique way to represent this, we are willing to look.

They do not have a color preference at this time. Something professional and modern. Nothing loud or hard on the eyes.

I will keep this contest open until Monday evening at 6pm. (05/05). I will then show all entries to the client and have an answer back as quickly as possible. Please allow a couple of days for the client to decide.

I will pay $30 to the winner and $5 to the second place winner. Payments will be paid via Paypal.

We do reserve the right to not pick a winner if the client does not like any of the entries. In the event that this happens I will offer a small payment ($5 each) to the best 2 designs in my opinion.

Once we have purchased winning header, we have all rights. You will be unable to use this in your portfolio.


I will offer feedback on designs based on client comments.

Many of these are awesome. The client liked a previous entry but needed modifications and I am waiting to see if the gentleman will make modifications. He was supposed to have this done by now but has not come through as of yet. In the meantime, I will continue to take entries.

JMP- Excellent ! I will show this to the client. I especially liked your use of the street map. Hope the client likes that as much as I do.


Xavier- Nice work but not really the feel the client likes.


Surenther- Also very nice work. Is it possible to make the text a little crisper ?


For anyone making modifications or wanting to enter the client has informed me that they utilize mostly flatbed trucks and stepdeck type trucks. They haul materials such as machinery, coils and building materials.


I will run this contest a little longer...another day or two, but I really need to wrap this one up for the client. So please get your entries in quick !

Xavier- Much improved ! I lilke this one much better than your 1st entry. Definately a litlte more of the clients style.


Surenther- Very pleased. I personally like the one you did at 1:19 am (Post #16). Is there anyw way you can use a different part of the map on that one ? The client is in Indiana and I am not sure if they transport to California.
