Hi everyone.
I am a currency analyst and I would like to get a adsence page up and running. I know very little on this subject, but I learn quite quick.
Now, I am going to explain to you what I know, or what I "think" I know about this and how it works, and maybe some of you can correct me and point me in the right direction.
I buy a Domain name (godaddy or something) that is related to the type of page (Cell phones or Travel and so on) and get it.
I then could buy a laod of pages from Ebay like the one from the link I have provided.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Cell-Phone-AdSense-Website-Business-w-CONTROL-PANEL_W0QQitemZ7617211085QQcategoryZ46689QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
or
http://cgi.ebay.com/16-000-ADSENSE-READY-WEBSITE-PAGES-155-Themes-BARGAIN_W0QQitemZ7616904274QQcategoryZ46689QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I upload this to the domain name I have bought, and it is online and ready.
Is that it works? Just works, not make good money, I can learn that later. I would just like to get one up and running, don't really care if it makes like 1 cent per day :)
Any information you can provide would be great, thank you!

little more technical then that, don't buy those crappy adsense sites, they don't work, if ur starting maybe make a blog on blogspot.com

Finding a name: Would something like topadsense.com, or something like that be ok? Or does it have to be related to what the site is? Like cell phones or something? IF I have like 100's of pages, how do I put them on one domain name?

Ask yourself -- if those ready-made Adsense sites work, why would the guy be selling it in bulk? Why don't he just put them up and make millions off them? Answer: They don't work. Simple as that, so don't waste your time and money.
Anyways, you've skipped so many steps that I don't know where to begin. My suggestion would be to learn proper webmastering skills first, and then start with Adsense. All the Adsense info won't help you if you can't create a good website to bring in people to click on those Adsense ads.
As the saying goes, you've put the cart before the horse.

So, maybe I could make a page on Investing, get some good traffic, then start with the AS?

What does a currency analyst do exactly?
Are you an expert in that field?
This might be your topic.

I'm just taking a stab at it but I'm assuming he looks at the worth of money in various countries and advises clients on where to sink their investments or some such. Just guessing, of course. :) But yeah, he could definitely do something like "the worldwide currency blog" or something and monitor the shifting of currencies around the world and analyzing it. I bet that would be of interest to some financial geeks out there. Plus his ads would be high-paying ones...

You can definitely start with a blog. (See above post.) Blogs are easy to create, easy to maintain, and dirt cheap to start, and doesn't require a whole lot of webmastering expertise. The problem is finding an untapped niche from which to focus your blog on.

I have this blog regarding Forex, a pretty hot topic these days.
How do I get more adds, I just have that one.
http://eliteforex.blogspot.com/
Also, how do I register with google for adsense with this page? I am just waiting for them to verify and give me the code. What do I do after that?
Thank you, have a good day!

Once they give you the code, you can use it on your blog, you will understand once you login in your adsense account, you select a size for your ads, choose your colors to blend it in the graphic design of your blog and copy and paste the HTML code in your blog's template.
To make your blog known you have to find other blogs from analysts or financial websites and ask them to do a link exchange: you put a link to them in your blog and they put a link to your blog on their site.

The first thing you need to do after you get your adsense code (and before you use it) is read the Adsense TOS if you haven't done so already. Print it out, read it, put it under your pillow, commit it to memory. If you don't understand (and follow) what it says, all your efforts will be for naught because you can lose your account.

Yes, that's the idea. Place your ads correctly on your bog, blend them well and then get a lot of readers for your blog, it will automatically convert into dollars. You can have a maximum of 3 ads blocks and 1 links unit on one page. That's more than enough.
jackburton2006
May 8th 2006, 3:18 pm
@kastro_316,
Do what Ratdog says. As soon as they accept you, BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE take time out to read the Adsense TOS. Learn what you can and can't do. Violate just one part of it and they will ban you for life. Trust me when i say that the chances of you getting re-instated once you've ben banished from Adsense for a TOS violation is zero to nil.

Here's what you need to know:

As has been mentioned, learn these rules well and stick to them or you may end up on the outside looking in.

I agree with Spyrit. But, then, you have to ask yourself.... If you buy a domain and hire a webdesigner, you will make more from not buying anything than you will with adsense. You would have no idea what to tell the designer. It takes weeks of testing and changing and updating to figure what will get you money through adsense. I don't mean to sound like doom and gloom, but you should do A LOT of research before you dive into this. AdSense is not get rich quick....And, sometimes ads are as little as 1 cent. Say you get 1,000 people and 20 people click on your 1 cent ad. That is 20 cents. This is common. The best way to make money is to see what works and then see what else works...continue until you have a lot of things working. Learn HTML and web design so you can make the changes yourself. Sorry for the long post, but, I fear you are in WAAAAY over your head for now. Good luck.

I don't think he should shell out money. Right now he's still feeling his way around Adsense. Spend a month or two (or more) with Blogger and get to know Adsense and how to make it work for you first before investing heavily in a designer and website.

reading is good, but sometimes people read too much and do nothing, and that isn't good either...you better combine them, read and in the same time test what you are reading on blogs or free websites. Then, when you are ready go make your own!

Your question is like asking "How can I make money in the stock market?"
To make money from adsense you have to;
pick a popular topic
make sure you pick a topic with low competition
learn website creation skills
buy domain name
buy hosting
make a website on said topic
learn keyword optimization
learn designer skills to improve looks of website
learn search engine optimization skills
add new content regularly
learn best adsense placement
I'm sure I forgot something
Any one of these topics could consume most of your waking hours. The web is full of forums, groups and tutorials, and most of them are focused on just a single step in the process. There's a huge forum and several sites to help you choose a hosting company for example.

Free design still means the need for hosting. This person is coming in with no experience and some of us are giving him a false sense. We should find out what type of budget he/she has. If they have the money then it is worth spending it. If they don't, they are better off starting with a blog or 10.......People are very fickle. It's very hard to guess what ads they will click on.

Not everyone has money to pay a large sum of money to get someone to design a site that's just going to be, essentially, a "testing ground" for the OP. He'll run it for a few weeks, a month, learning as he goes, then he put that knowledge to creating a better site. Telling him to start shelling out big bucks now before he even begins is ridiculous. And he's already started with a free blog at Blogger. Do try to read the rest of the posts, eh?

Ah, that's too bad. You decided to go for these pre-made MFA sites. Bummer. You're now stuck with a site that will be hopelessly buried in the search engines. Your entire visitor count will be people from DP checking your site out. Beyond that, don't expect to make anything from your site. Why? Because you are using the same MFA template as a billion other people. Too bad. I thought you wanted to do this right, but I guess you've decided to go for the "easy money" route. C'est la Vie.

I was just curious how I get my blog site in search engines? The ads on my site, like the picture ad at the bottom, do they only require someone to click them to get a couple cents?
I just picked up a adsense book today from chapters, so I am going to give that a read before I post any more questions in here because like all forums, Noobs piss people off :)

If you bought an MFA site, there's no way for you to get good search engine rankings. If I was looking for this topic, I could see right away you have no real content to offer, & I would leave your site immediately.

Kastro, please do yourself a big favor and don't do anything else until you read the links you've been given to Google's Adsense TOS. This is absolutely critical. You came to this forum asking for help with Adsense. This is the single most important piece of advice we can give you. You asked how many and what kind of ads you can put on your site. If you read G's TOS, you'll find the answer to your question along with a wealth of other important information.
Honest, kastro, the information contained in the TOS is very important to follow. Many people have been banned from Adsense for not reading and following those rules.
