In the last few days I went from 7-10 to no where to be found. Things have been moving all week it looks like. Seems to me a lot of spam has floated to the top again.

Its like Yahoo dancing for a week or so.
Last week some sites disappeared from first page and few are back to old position, few within 200.

Yes --- my personal observations...... Things that were in common were these 6 sites I noticed big changes on were all Yahoo directory sites that had an unexplainable drop in rankings...... All had very high numbers of inbound links and had been filtered, but high quality and not spam.

No I didn't see any changes with mine. Although the week before last my site was jumping from position 1 to 6 and then back again, sometimes in a matter of seconds just from hitting refresh. very odd. anyone else experience that?

I saw changes with several of my keywords. I have seen other forums talking of a Yahoo update today.

I saw a change earlier today but I just checked again and the results were back to the previous days results. Must be a Yahoo! dance. :)

many webmasters found their sites dissappeared from Yahoo!'s serps after the 21st April update and many still found their sites bumped down a couple of pages - me included. to add to this, the "View as XML" and "Add to myYahoo" links have gone missing in our listings.

word is that mebbe Yahoo!'s decided to drop all the RSS links and revert to a basic listing. i don't mind except that this has cause lots of sites to get thrown around.

for the life of me, I CANNOT figure out any pattern (KW density, metatags desc, backlinks, anchor text etc) that makes the sites above me rank the way they do. sigh!

anyone notice your sites going kapoot from the serps too?

even though it is my directory listing. My organic and directory listing both vanished for nearly a year until the other day.

my site's back on page 1. after 2 cycles of Yahoo updates in April that bumped me to page 3 for two weeks each time, I have to say it's affected my earnings. hope the next update doesn't come for another say... 20 years or so...

About 2 weeks ago I saw a shift in Yahoo SERPs but nothing has really changed since then.

Yeah, I'm still no where to be found for a term I was ranked 9th for. Looks like a lot of sites are getting their descriptions/titles from their yahoo dir listing.

to see the 299 per year go to something finally, after paying it for three years recurring. i hope it is because of that and not another temporary worthless algo change

It has been far from worthless for me. Since the 21st I have many new top rankings. Just wish Yahoo could provide traffic like Google does.
