Is it a good idea to use ad scheduling on content network?

The content network takes forever to turn on. If I use ad scheduling for certain times of day, will this affect my clicks/impressions? I would think so because it could take almost 6 hours for a campiagn to even show signs of life.

I see that search can display ads within minutes so search is fine for such things.
