Hello friends,
i found a strange characteristics of Google search option that if you put any alpha bates of English up to 128 times it shows results.
like if you will put aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa up to 128 times you will get results?
my question is that why its limited to 128 time ? is there is any reason behind it?

The limit is up to 128 characters add another a and it'll show you no result http://code.google.com/enterprise/documentation/xml_reference.html#query_term_separators

Yee, are you experimenting? I do not know of any word with that amount of characters. Maybe some UFO language.

Google is a GREAT search engine, but it's still just a program running on a server. It's got limitations.
I thought it might be a 128 character limit, but it looks like I may be wrong. I tried a search by copying a paragraph of text into the search window. I got the following message.
"a" (and any subsequent words) was ignored because we limit queries to 32 words.
I also tried searching using other repeted characters. All of the ones I tried got hits. It also looks like the 128 limit holds for the other repeted characters.
One more question, WHY would someone put all those repeted characters on their webpages?

Yes you are right ....this the basic moto behind my question ...that why google set limit up to 128 characters as no body use up to 10 time ....why google not set the limit 32 .
as no body will repeat the words up to 32 times also....well after putting words up to 100 time or more we get alots of results .........with no use.....google penalise keyword stuffing but here its a word spamming but still google giving results????
where is the google algorithm for these results????

I think some from Google's development team can only give satisfactory reply to this query, or some one good in programming.
