First thing i'd do is get rid of the - hi - bit at the top, looks unprofessional.

I'd also get a header, logo done for the top as that is pretty plain at the top.

It's probably just me, I don't understand what it is for.

Maybe a banner at the top with a name or something telling people what your site offers.

Yeah it is a bit bland, add some more colour and variety to your website and make sure it functions adequately in both Internet Explorer and Firefox.

There is a big white box that protrudes through the right side of the template for me. I like plain and simple, but maybe a little too plain. Good luck.

IE7, It doesn't do it on FF though.
