If your talking about members of your website, i would suggest checking the cms software you are using, to see if there is a users online option, or an addon you can install.

This is a very open ended question, Todd has give you a way to see how many users are visiting your site at the moment, where as what i have suggested is the internal way - which is Dependant on the software you are using, you'll need to define what you mean more, to get a better answer to your question.
