webmasters let you know that they have added your site? So many times when I am going over my link requests, I see that a certain site has added my link, but never emailed me to let me know.
When I decide to accept an exchange I always email the site to let them know I added their link and where they can view it.
Does this happen to you guys?

Janet, some people simply don't have the time to do it, or they don't have an automated process to email you when you link has been established.
I would say that this is pretty common.

I don't use an automated process, but I always email the webmasters. I guess that means I have way too much time on my hands! :D

It happens very rarely to me. I get about 6-7 link exchange requests perday but, I only select 1 out of every 30 or 40 links I receive. Mistakenly I included my link in link market directory. Most of the requests are directly coming from there and surprisingly most of the sites are even unrelated.
Do you think I should send a reply back to them ;) Just delete, delete and delete ;)
