can someone that is familiar with yahoo tell me what all this traffic is?

ok i got on to check my websites stats today and i got about 250 visitors from some yahoo groups thing. (ps i only get about 50 visitors a day). here was the info it told me from my website stats.


groups.yahoo.com (referral)
273-visitors 50.93%

and here is the connecting url with the most hits

/group/AmpLinks/message/12400

i went to the site and like did not exist or somthing!

will someone please tell me what is going on? i did not submit my site to yahoo or any directory or anything! i joined no groups and bought no weirds SEO things or anything like that. I am just very confused. any help is GREATLY appreciated! thanks!:confused:

Maybe someone who's a member of a yahoogroup related to your niche linked your site? You can't view direct yahoogroup link unless youre a member of that group.

natural backlinks are a good thing. When you have content that others will link to on their own, that normally indicates you are on a good path. Enjoy the traffic. :)
