Yes! Another Logo Contest! $40 + $10 Bonus

Hello, it's me The Big Banana again with yet another cool contest!

Here's the deal: Mr. Softy, who I sponsored a previous contest for, is in the hunt for a logo design for another business. The parameters are pretty open, but here's what's required:

1) The name is SpeedyDry.ca - please keep the capitalization of the letters and the .ca as I have it listed. No .ca under the name, please.

2) The company provides emergency water and fire damage restoration services.

3) Mr. Softy wants the logo to portray expediency, but not that they offer "cheap" or "quick" or "half-done" work.

4) The color and font selection is flexible, however being a water and fire restoration business the colors blue and red would probably fit best. (possibly yellow too)

5) The logo should be separated from the text, as in the logo itself needs to stand-alone from the text.

The contest starts now and runs until Monday, April 28th @ 5PM EST. The $10 bonus will be awarded IF Mr. Softy determines a winner before the cutoff.

Per usual with my contests, please submit your work to this forum. No PM-only work will be accepted. :)

NOTE: +1 REPs will be issued to excellent work, regardless of the winner!

Thanks everyone for participating.
I have thought of the first entry from Xaralee all day. I know that I requested that the logo be seperate from the name.
In the restoration business, fire and water are the enemy. We are called in to restore the structure and the client. So the logo should portry a sense of caring along with expediency.

Holy Moley! I go away for a day and the entries go wild! (think I'll go away more often - lol)

Excellent artristry here, folks. Once again I am sure glad I don't have Mr. Softy's job of picking the winner. These are some of the best I've seen out of the half-dozen contests I've held so far. Keep it up!

As Mr. Softy stated, if you can somehow show competence and expediency in the logo (don't ask me how, I'm just a business guy - not an artist like you pros!) I think Mr. Softy will be closer to finding the winner.

Just so you all know, I spread +1 reps to all submitters that I could! :)

Guys the 3D design are excellent but not pratical for my application.
L3fty, would it be possible to add smoke as our third symbols in the triangle? Also, rather than in black can the symbols be in colour; blue for water, orange/red for fire, gray for smoke.

L3ty, I really like the second submission. Two request; can the smoke and fire change position and can you put SD blank spot in the middle.
NaIdz, thanks. I'm are leaning towards the tri-symbols concept. I think it is easier for customers to the name and service together.

Ok L3fty, you can tell me I'm out to lunch if I'm not making sense from a design view. The last ones with the three triangles is a fantastic design, but the SD is not popping as I thought it would. Can we get it to pop without adding any more colours.
