There are so many different link building companies, it can be difficult to tell which companies
are legit unless you have prior experience with them, I've always been skeptical of these
companies.

I have tried a few but nothing really sticks out as the best. If you have link building knowledge, you are going to do the best job. All it takes is time and patience. (especially patience).

Try out LinkXL. They have contextual links and the service is self-serve or they will assist you. Most links are under $10 and are for back link building. Also they have no footprint on the links on their publisher sites.
