Hi to all my senior DP Members,

Though I have been posted more than 700 posts in quantity (Not quality wise) on this forums still I feel that Iam a Zero Knowledged guy in all aspects. Iam fascinated to the web world hence I joined to this forums last year. Still Iam a joker in circus. Next month Iam going to host my own site hence I request my senior members of this forums to explain what are all the criterias to be met in choosing domain name (Keeping in mind SEO).

2) easy to remember, without -
3) not very long (10-15 chars)
4) .com -> .net -> .org -> .info -> .biz

You are not confused but clear...noted down the priorities and I follow that. Thanks for quick suggestions.

If you are just going to buy one TLD, for example .com, check if there is a site with the same name on .org, etc to avoid confusion.
Always check any potential names on google for double meanings, or meanings in another language if its an original word.
When you search to see if your chosen name is available, buy it as soon as you can to avoid the issue of domain stealing.
