I purchased a domain in July of last year and did not have time to work on it so I did a 301 redirect to one of my other sites.
The domain has a PR5 with 25+ quality old, high PR BLs (the BLs were visible on G “link: “ until two weeks ago.)
Three weeks ago I put up a single page targeting a few very uncompetitive keywords and removed the 301. I pointed about 1,000 weight from the co-op network at the domain. For the first week G reported the BLs in the toolbar and in “link:” . In the second week G stopped showing the BLs but the PR was and is, still showing 5. Searching for unique content returns the site so it’s in the index.
And, the site ranks well in the SERPs for the keywords.
Any ideas on why G stopped showing the BLs?
Is this a precursor of bad things to come?
Is there something else I should be doing or should have done?
Thanks,
