Hi, I have done a link exchange campaign to get my site up to a pr 6. Now I am writing articles that I send out to other sites that link to that specific article. Many sites pick up these articles and give me a one way link. They usually post the news on their homepage until the next batch of news comes out. I have been mentioned on many PR pages from 4-8 too. Are these one way links valuable to my overall site or just those specific pages?

I guess what i'm really trying to get out. Does my homepage PR have a chance at increasing with these one links pointing at the internal pages?

Yes, just make sure you link back to your homepage from your internal pages.

exam is correct on this. Oneway linking to more of your internal pages will definately help to increase overall page rank.

Make sure to place your links on a page that has high PR. If you are after high PR, you must find high PR websites to link to you. It is not the PR of the home page that matters but, it is the PR of the page where you link is placed that matters.

Thanks for those answers and the question... I was wondering about this myself.
