Hi Amy. I looked into it and you seem to need a business number for the .ro one. The actual cost at that site seems to be 39 euros plus tax. The cheaper option asks you to buy hosting along with the domain.

I've checked for .ro domain registrars and found only a few hosting companies that register .ro domains mainly with hosting plans included.

But the worst part is that you can't pay with credit card, not to mention paypal, mostly accept cash or bank transfer.

I have found though a thread on a forun saying that someone got a .ro domain from register.com

The largest .ro registrar in romania is rnc.ro

and you don't have to own a business to register a .ro domain.

if you are a person enter your name instead of business name and instead of business code enter your code from your ID card

Michael's site seems to be very good for this type of thing. I went to www.rnc.ro and they don't post the cost of registering through them. Does anyone know how much it costs to do it directly thought rnc.ro?
