I just want to know what parameters decide the success in link building campaign ?

The success of any marketing campaign is determined by the number of buyers who found you through the campaign and actually made a purchase. Ideally, repeat purchases. ;)

Prior to that, determining what phrases people often use that relate to your products and/or services is a start. Then determining how competitive those phrases are and what sites you can get to place links pointing to your site pages (individually) which relate to you. There are some other factors that many DP'ers will probably mention in this thread.

When it all comes down to the bottom line, it is about buyers. :)

Initially I look at MSN/Yahoo and see how many links I have gained. After that its all about the money.;)
