If anyone can tell me which is better, listed from the best to worst, among the following extentions .net, .org, or .info, I would appreciate it.

Thanks MeetHere. I figured that info would be last, but I would have guessed .org over .net.
In your opinion, is there a significant diference in your rankings, in other words, is .net really that much better than .org?

Canadian, why do you have a preference for .org?

It depends on the nature of the site. For most sites, I feel it gives the impression of status. I believe it was originally created for organizations.
Example: dmoz.org
.net may work better for some technical sites.

As you mentioned above, the order in terms of value would be:
.net
.org
.info

after .com?
.net / .org about the same
.tv - has a useful meaning and is being marketed by some large corps.
.asia - yet to be determined, but has a fair chance of being better than .info/.biz/.mobi
.biz/.mobi - about the same
.info - crap, since too many spammers tainted this domain early on

I don't like .info's, but they're fairly common:
.net
.org
.info
.co.uk
.biz

Assuming you are looking to start a international website I would say .net is second best however consider a country extension if you site is targeted. I have a couple .ca websites because Im Canadian and that is a market I know and understand.

.info are good because they show up in Search results when people type something with info in it like "car insurance info" or variations

It depends on the market that you are targetting. If it is something local, you are definitely better off with the local extension say.co.uk ( United Kingdom), co.za ( South Africa) or .ca ( Canada).
.my- depends on whether or not people in the country are used to it.
