$25 Logo/Header Contest

I would like a logo/header created for my icon site iconzworld.com (http://iconzworld.com).

I would like to replace the brownish/tanish background of the header with white or anything creative that you think of that looks good. I want a WEB 2.0 look that says IconzWorld with the cutline of "The best free icons on the net!" I think the current header is taller than I would like so you can shrink it if you would like and you may include navigation if you would like too.

Use any colors you want and I would like to see what a cubed globe/world would like like for a logo kind of like the dice at http://csscube.net/ except as a world and not a dice.

The contest will end in a week if I believe enough good entries have been received.

If there is a winner, which I'm sure there will be, will be paid in full via pay pal once I receive the logo files.

digitalproducts: Any chance you can make the text stand out more? When I shrink the logo, it's very hard to read the text.

technoguy: I like the colors you used, however I'm not a fan of the font nor the globe logo.

xaralee: Same goes for you and I liked the fact that you included a full header/nav design too.

PFTH - I do like the feed icon, it has the look I'm going for but I don't think the globe or text matches it too well. Not too fond of the black text. I Also think the whole thing is kinda big.

ishiro - looks to plain and just slapped together.

alztudio - I think I like the second one better but I would like something that was more linear such as in a row not stacked like [icon] - text or text - [icon] or text-[icon]-text etc...

I think you guys are starting to get the right idea!

Aalto - I like the idea, the outline/layout is there I would to see a more cartoonish look to the cubed world though, more web 2.0 like.

CollyMellon- I really like the header you came up with in conjunction with your logo. I like everything there except the globe icon!

PFTH - I like yours too, I would like to see what you could do by swapping the RSS icon for a squared globe icon.

alztudio - I don't want to waste you time with this one, I'm just not feeling it. Sorry :(

xaralee - I like your header/logo too. Would love to see what you could do as far as a cubed globe goes.

anidesign - Add the cutline and see what you can do with a cubed globe too!

You artist truly are amazing and I envy your talent and than you for your time and effort!

miguelflyat04 - That is definitely interesting and creative but it just doesn't have the look I'm going for. I like the wire frame and the wire frame shadow, but like I said, just now what I'm going for. Maybe you could give it a more cartoonish look and make it more glossy and web 2.0 looking.

alztudio - I like that las tone you did except I don't like the distorted look of the globe, can you make it more cubed like?

CollyMellon - try making the icon bigger and playing around with the color of the water, maybe a bluish water with green land with the cube displaying some sort of drop shadow or glow or something.

csunplug - good first attempt, not really a fan of the thing around the cubed globe but would like to see what it would like like on its own and maybe a different color for that and the text.

This use to be my old logo. I liked the color of the globe in it. See if you can make the color for the cubed globe similar to it.

xaralee - I would like more distinct lines in your cube like this http://iconzworld.com/downloads/fixit.jpg and I'm just not a fn of the header such as the white background then curving into blue background. Don't like the nav buttons either.

PFTH - You're on the right track. I don't care for the font and would like some sort of outline on the font and would like to see what it would like like on a header with some nav maybe.
