Help on blog indexing etc..

Ok so my new blogs been up a week now and still not seeing it indexed in google

I am compiling a checklist of things to do and need some help on the "ping" systems and getting my blog indexed

what are some of the best ways to get indexed??

im sure it's listed in google already but it might take a bit longer for your site to turn up in the serps for certain keywords etc

Claim it on Technorati - and keep pinging ping-o-matic... That should work fine...

You could simply submit it to Google - although some don't think this is great...

Remember to have a good xml sitemap, robots.txt and get started on urchin stats with Google Analytics. Reason being, if you let Google help you out with stats, they'll have to take a look at the site.

Good luck... don't do to much. Google and all the others will come crawling soon.

A couple of backlinks should do the trick.

Put it in your DP signature. It is bound to get indexed within a week.

submit your blogs into top social network websites and also submit them into web directories.
you can also try with forum posting.

Lol, There are many ways to get indexed every day you blogs..Let me show you some ways..

1. Prepare one unique article in a day and post on your blog with creating suitable category.
2. Get approx. 10 to 15 one way links in every week from directories, forum posting, article posting in various directories, social bookmarking sites etc.
3. Don't put adsense on new blogs...wait for crawling of major search engines..You can put adsense once start to crawling from SEs.

I am sure your blog will be crawled frequently..Hope it will useful...

ive started using pinging sites to index it

If you use Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools, most pages in your blog should be indexed quickly.
