Need some feedback on new directory prior to launch

Hi all,
I have scrapped my article site in favor of a dir. The domain has a pr 1 or 2 depending on which checker you use and is predicted to jump to a pr 4 next update (not that, that means anything).
At the moment I have no listings, just the general layout and have disabled the submit form until it is all ready to go.

Just looking for some feed back on the design, or any glitches i may have overlooked.

Ok turns out it was the font that displayed all in caps! I have switched to a different font for the text at the bottom, but kept the Caps font for the headings and titles. uploading the site now. Other than that what do you think of the design?

You may want to change it in your Meta Title too, just a suggestion though, you may prefer it to display that way.

Design wise nice and clean, its focused and brought together.

I'd have to agree with MeetHere. Something brandable with some keywords would have been nice.

yeah The domain was set up 7 months ago, under the idea of crossing inform(in shape) and information. we set it up as an article and fitness info resource site, but writing good length articles on a broad range of subjects was getting to be way too much work. (we didnt want to just go and use free articles, but was looking like we may have too) that is when I decided to turn it into a directory, already has a bunch of related links and is just starting to climb in the serps. I figure I can use a bunch of the articles we wrote in blog posts anyways.

I have added the categories to the main page also, see what you think. thank you all again!

As previously suggested add a lot of quality content prior to going public with it. You don’t want to be another empty directory with no future. :D
