I want to keep my website out of the search results from Google,yahoo,MSN,etc...
I don't want my website to be indexed in any way.
The reason is that I want to start a private investment club that is not allowed to advertise publicly.
How can this be achieved ? ( with a turning number,a password to login,..)

Make your web site password protected, that should help.

use your robots.txt file to tell the Googlebot not to access any of your pages.

Not much use, not every search engines obey robots.txt, those that dont obey can still index. Best is still use password protection.

Is a turning number as good as a password ?

No it is quite weird to use that as a form of authentication, but I suppose it will work in your case to keep out search engines. Search engines bots wont be smart enough to figure out the turing number to get in.
