Just wonder why ppl take sitewide link over link on a page. Does SE count sitewide link more powerful than just one link?

For me it is spammy:confused: same as puting ten link with same anchor text on a page.

I'm not sure, but I thought "site wide" was to a page in the site that is not the home page... Am I wrong?

Sitewide is on every page of the site.

Google doesn't much care for multiple links from one site to another.

I think static sitewides work ok for internal but for external what a waste IMO

Google seems to implement a one-site/one-vote rule, so sitewides don't help so much for external links.

I like to save all my screen space for ads. :D

I get so little traffic from all other search engines combined that I sometimes forget they exist!

Think outside the search engines, and more about direct traffic as well.

I know MSN count every page link like 1 new and google count all sitewide links ad 1. But alwaus more is better.

sitewides increase the chances of search engines following through to the target site though... ;)

So if I have 3 columns in my website, by including (via PHP) a left column, middle (content) and right column, I could keep the links on the left column and have it site wide?

sitewides + internal + anchor text = rankings

That's why big sites have a big advantage.

Personally, when i buy link, i like an exclusive one page per link style than a sitewide with 10 or 15 link every page

Yes while I agree with you that external sitewides are not so good, internal sitewides are dynamite !
