is it alright to remove the navbar in blogger. does it break blogger TOS?

i have not spotted anywhere that it does.

I use the code from http://blogger-templates.blogspot.com/2005/01/remove-navbar.html on some of my blogs.

Agreed. You'll not find any rule that says you can't remove it.

In fact Blogger Officials have also confirmed that it is not against their TOS to hide blogger Navbar . I have hidden it too ;)
