Just got a message from Adsense support about some of my sites violating their TOS (I recently accepted the new one). They only pointed out one site (http://blogspotproxy.com), and how publishers aren't permitted to urge users to click the ads, bring excessive attention etc.
I'm somewhat relieved that they gave me an opportunity to fix this and didn't disable my account right away, but I'm not sure what to fix.
Could the ad layout I'm using be a problem? Could this be considered "bringing excessive attention"? Is it because it's a proxy?
I've asked them for more help regarding this, though they may not reply in time (or at all), so I'd be grateful if someone could give me some pointers.
Thanks.

@lightstarm2k
Yes, there should be some content. I'll write some out and put it there.
@Dollar
I was worried about the placement as well. Will change that asap.
Thank you all for replying.

I think its everything about that website. lol. Too many ads and no content is perfect breeding territory for accidental clicks.

I've reduced the ads and changed the positioning to make it look more natural. Hope it is compliant now.

Hi everybody! Google Adsense is the best.
Well you sure sound like a promising new poster with a unique perspective.
LOL. Anyway, I wouldn't use adsense on proxy sites. Just too risky.

After you make the changes, you may want to E-mail them back to confirm Google's acceptance.
Google does not give out many warnings. They obviously want to work with you, so reciprocate that effort...

How do you set up a proxy site? Is there some software package you can install on your server or something?

more content, much more , explain what your site is with more words, visitors must be informed and place a Privacy Policy !

^Thamelas: It's a simple script :p
You were banned because I think of the newer things listed on the adsense blog

I'd worry about the domain name for starters, as Google already owns more than half of it.
They could turn that name off at anytime they wanted to. No court. No appeal.

Planning to start a proxy but this thread has me worried. Is it ok for proxy sites to have adsense on them and do we have to add a privacy policy in our proxies?

Very true, actually Trademark owners are supposed to enforce their mark from used in bad faith or they can lose ownership to it.
You can see here (http://www.google.com/search?q=%22Proxify%C2%AE+enforces+its+marks%22&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&hs=NVZ&filter=0)
several sites using the mark Proxify taken down. Although proxify is very pursaint chasing anyone using it. So if you start a proxy DO NOT put proxify in the domain at all. Don't waste your time.

Thankfully, and to my delight, I got a reply from adsense support and they pointed out some important things, even about my updated layout.
The text I have, "Blogspot Proxy provides a away to easily read and manage blogs...", was just above the ads and made it look like I was labelling them. So now, I've moved the ad to the side and have informed them about it. Let's see what they say.
I guess it all means that you should be careful when "blending in" the ads with your site and not draw too much attention to them.
About the trademark issue, I don't see anything wrong with providing a service that assists users of Blogspot, though I should make it clear that it's not affiliated with that. Anyway, that wasn't something that Google complained about.
