I've had this happen to a handful of my recent sites and my theory is that G doesn't like me building backlinks to the site the same day it is created.

Well I don't know if this is true or not but I find this information on this forum. If search result for your URL looks like this (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=www.sms2net.com&btnG=Google+Search) than your site is banned from G. Same thing happened with one of my sites. Maybe that is the answer for you.

I have similar problem. Google shows only my homepage nad I have no PR. Search for my website looks like this:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=www.yourpenpals.net&btnG=Search

Well i approved ur submission only after confirming that its not banned, if it had been banned or blacklisted google would not have shown any results.

And G bot is a slow bot it wont crawl your site till you get some google adsense codes on there, so i borrowed my freinds google adsense code and posted it on my site and now it gets lots of google crawls (even though they might be ads bots but still they are owned by google). So one suggestion would be to get adsense code and paste it on your site for a month or few weeks.

Cheers

No, Adsense bot doesn't help at all... I guess you have to wait a little more.

I am facing same problem with my website,
can any one tell me how long google takes to crawl a website once you submit the website url.

Also do i need to keep submitting the URL, or submitting just once will do.
