I am not getting that particular error. But, I am getting a parsing error on several scripts I've been working with. I then thought to set up the feed in feedburner. And now it works in Kerosene's (http://www.thewebsiteprofessionals.com/twp-auctions/) script(with a little hacking).

Hope this helps someone. :|

What was the "heck"? I would think getting the link directly from Ebay should be good enough.

Hi,
You have to insert a CUSTOM-ID too and it works. I don´t know what a custom-id is but I insert a code and feeds are working ok.
Hope it helps.

Hi RelativeLabs,

Are you using a script to pull the feed into your sites? And it's working ok? If so, can you tell us which script you are using?

Thanks!

Yep, same here. Tried it a couple times, same result. Maybe someone should alert them about this.

Also, with eBay Parnter Network, I don't think there's an option there to generate a custom id, or is there? All my links come up with the campaign ids only.

As someone else has mentioned, there is a bug that requires you to enter a CUSTOM ID. It can be anything, type whatever you want in there. There is no custom id generator. You are given one campaign ID to start. You can create as many of them as you want.

So basically, do an advanced search like you normally do. Under the affiliate section choose ebay partner network, enter your campaign id, and fill in the custom id box with whatever you want. It's probably a good idea to have that related to what you're searching for - if your searching for coach bags, use coach bags for a custom id. Then hit search and the feed will be at the bottom of the results page like it normally is.

This works for the US version, but not sure about the others.

I'm sure this error caused by the absence of CUSTOM ID. I was getting the same error for a couple of times but after I supplied it complete with CAMPAIGN ID, the err above gone...

you have to login to ebay partner network and you click on campaigns, you can either use the default one your are given or create a new one.

they are listed on the campaigns page, you cant miss them
