Hi
I have successfully signed up ebay partner program today and it was instantly approved.
and i tried to generate links for my affiliate program thru tools--> generate links
and i got something like this
hXXp://XXX.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?type=1&campid=5335XXXXXX&toolid=10001&customid=cash
(I guess this link is allowed to post here.)
i tried to test it by clicking from my own ip and asked my few friends to click on mine to check whether they show up in my back office,to my surprise nothing is showing up.
I guess there is a problem with my link
or is that it will take some time to update ?
any body who knows about it can enlighten me on this one.
thanks in advance
digiguy :)

Very interesting, would you please post back if it appears after a few hours. I am trying to implement the similar and would like to know if there are any problems.

You aren't supposed to click on your own links.

as i can, since they aren't paying for each clicks
and i want to test it out so only way is to click it for results. lol

It does say, "You and your Agents will not click on Promotional Content containing your own Tracking Code." Doesn't this mean we can't click on our own links? lol
o_O why we can't click on our own links? :/ This is stupid imho.. They don't pay us per click.. :/

I doubt they'll be enforcing that rule too strictly this month. There are a lot of people switching links over and they want to make sure they did it correctly, so there will probably be a lot of self-clicks.

I don't see any point in ebay blocking self click since thats the only way to make sure whether out links are working or not.
since my link has been clicked several times yesterday and till now iam not seeing any clicks being tracked in my back office.
anyways i'll wait for 1 more day.
if you guys know anything please update me.
thanks

I'm about to revert to CJ until this gets worked out.
I've had over 4,000 impressions, 600 click-throughs, and $0.00
I'm used to seeing $30-$80 a day and haven't seen anything from the two sites I moved over. Alternatively, I'm still getting money daily from CJ, so I KNOW that's still working.

According to my reading from another forum, yesterday's commissions should be posted in the evening today.
