Ive noticed the msplinks that myspace redirects your links...
will high pr myspace page serve as good back links?

No - the PR is irrelevant because of the redirect.
Myspace links should be thought of as for traffic only.

You're saying that like it was good for backlinks in the past.
MySpace is good for driving traffic only and that doesn't work for just any niche.

Advertise it to your friends!!! Comment on their pages, etc... Post bulletins...
My Link Building blog would be useless to my friends on MySpace, but if you have a niche that is popular for the myspace crowd, use that as a great advertising tool.
Also, continue to request people to be friends, because they will at least check your profile at before adding you, which is more advertising!
