How to get more number of backlinks from Google.

For my site I am getting more number of backlinks from yahoo but allmost ZERO from google.

How to improve this?

Google doesn't list all of the links when you use the "link:" command. It just shows a sampling of some of your links. Yahoo shows a better reprensentation of your links. If yahoo has the backlinks, then I can bet that Google also has them (they just don't show them all). Sign up for Google Webmasters Tools to get a better (still not great) representation of your google backlinks.

Yahoo mabye just provides more backlinks?

It is a hidden secret how Google values back links. They also do not update them as often as Yahoo does. The best way to find out what they do count is to sign up, as suggested above, for Google webmaster Tools. This gives you a lot of information about what Google sees and counts for your site.

When I got PR3 on a month old site in January, Google showed 0 back links but now it shows 1145. What they see is not always what they show us poor lowly webmasters.

me too...yahoo show links getting 483 blacklinks.but google 0.
