I am in the works in trying to finish this site. I need some input on the design.

The site is not finished but in need a little input. I’m looking for help in pinpointing some of the problems. The main section at top will be a flash object.

I’m not so happy with the main text area is someone could post a link with some appealing text areas that would be great.

Everything is still in the works as for spelling it was done in a rush so it’s not done yet. In regards to the vertical space used it will be reduced and the flash object will only be used on the homepage not across the whole site.

not professional..

Please be specific what don’t you like or what can be improved what you posted is not a review just a useless post

No I don’t intend to compete with v7n I don’t have the time or most of the knowledge that he did. I hope someday but not with this domain.

Most website receive most of their traffic on the home page so I would not dismiss this issue. Right now you have more than 50% of the screen going to header and flash content. Unless that flash is a working menu I would not suggest this. If fact, if one of your selling points is flash design, then you need to know that the header "Flash Design" and its following content on your home page, is not even visible on my 19" monitor. I needed to scroll down to see to see it. I'm not against having flash on your home page, I'm just against it if it pushes your primary content to the bottom.

Looks okay although there seems to be a large area below the header with nothing there. But overall nice, has that linuxy look to it, dont ask me why it just does :)
