Hi guys,
Does anyone of you know what does it mean by below statement? Thanks...
"Google has recently done a crackdown on paid links and has begun to penalize websites that it suspects have been selling them by reducing their PageRank which can hurt search engine rankings. Since then it has become generally accepted practice to explicitly mark links that are not designed to be followed by Google...."
Is that mean we cant make any affiliate link to the affiliate product from our blog or website?

I use "no follow" on my affiliate links and so far I have not seen any penalties on affiliate websites. I have seen some websites with tons of links at PR 0 because they do a lot of affiliate marketing from one domain, but then again I've seen sites with good PR selling products as well. I think "no follow" will help with any paid links, because honestly Google doesn't care about if you make money from your links, they just care if that gets in the way of their search engine ranking methods.

Google is not happy with paid link that is true, but this is what Google thinking, don't sell link for just to pass link juice. If you put affiliate link, use no-follow attribute to that link which is suggested by Google. i hope now it is clear.
