I have a domain (not parked yet), with following statistics from sedotracker:

Visitors / Month 369,088
Direct Visitors / Month 198,607
Page Impressions / Month 2,011,866

Could any one predict the sedo's earnings if I close the page and park it on sedo? Or somehere else?

Best Regards

PS:I have another domain with 500 views / day with a CTR of 25% Making about 8€-10€ / day

Not as much money as you would think. Sedo pays me about 1-2 cents per click. They're a rip off for domain parking.

I mostly use sedo because of the ad included on the parking page

Good thing is that one has the option of being paid by paypal (minimum amount of 20 Euros).

RPM can be anywhere from $5-50. You only know by trying out, but keep in mind that traffic will die most likely.

I make about $5/month with about 800 uniques on my parked sedo page.

I love the paypal payments too :)

Are you talking about taking a website and parking it? It would depend VERY highly how your traffic is getting there as to whether this would be a good idea. Short run, you almost always make more going from website to parking. long run... depends where traffic is coming from and whether it would be stable or not.

Sedo sucks (at least for me). A while back I had a domain parked with 2,000 uniques/10,000 views per day. And I was earning like less than $1 a day. ;)

Just probably with the traffic not being targeted.

I like that they accept paypal. But it would be better if they would also use mb.

if it's developed you dont want to hurt your rankings parking it like this. really analyze how visitors are getting there. If you convert to a parking page odds are you will lose all SE rankings.

I have to agree... SEDO sucks for parking. You'll have better luck creating a landing page with Google Ads on it.

There is really a niche waiting to be filled for a company that offers good parking and auction/sales of domains. Sedo has been coasting for too long because of its position as a top auction house, and really has no incentive to improve its parking services because people need to park there to link to their Sedo listing and have their traffic stats show up in Sedo. But Sedo could really use some good old-fashioned competition, that's for sure.

There are some good ones around right, or what did you mean? What would you want from them, maybe something for a new project~!

Domain Distribution Network which is owned by Fabulous which has great PPC.

Also BuyDomains/Afternic has parking (ActiveAudience, GoldKey, etc) plus major sales platform.

It depends on the keyword you use ... some keywords at Sedo would pay you $1 per click, others will pay a cent or two per click. Parked.com is a better option for parking, but again, I had some names do better on Sedo, others make more at Parked.com (they require minimum 10 domains)

NameDrive and Parked both have great templates, way better than Sedo. And, Sedo doesn't let you change the capitalization of domains. (Bigger deal than you may think.) So I moved 20 5&6L names over to each, and at almost a month later VERY FEW CLICKS. They just died. Some got zero.

I moved 'em all back to Sedo, and impressions started up again less than an hour after the dns change. Sure, it's not much, but plenty to cover reg fees (for each) when you just don't have the time.

Parking earns you pennies, I would go for micro sites, even with little traffic micro sites make more money than Sedo parking.

Biggest earned amount from sedo on single click was 0.35 EUR, around 0,5 $

You can make around 1,000$ in the first month according to the statistics provided.
However Revenue depends on your site category.
Secondly, traffic will decrease rapidly when the site is parked.

I have realized even 1,4EUR for a click on Sedo but it was an isolated event :-(

if you have no traffic, then yes.

@vitalous: sedo seems to count a lot more traffic than any other parking company, you are right.

go with parked.com I didn't see much difference in sedo or parked actually doing better with parked with better RPM and CTR.

and I still got no reply from sedo about why they close my account and probably lost about 200 that I made there last month....
