Logo Contest 5 winners! $40 (24 hour contest)

Howdy again guys!

I have another contest here the company information in below...

Company Name: Tech Bench of Birmingham
Tagline: When technology fails... your Tech Bench Wont!
Logo Style: High Tech


This company provides technical support.

The prize will work as follows:

1st place $20
2nd Place $5
3rd place $5
4th place $5
5th place $5

I will pay the 2nd-5th placers once the contest ends. The first place designer will possibly need to make some revisions to the design and will have to provide a banner (120 x 600) with the logo in it.

This contest will run 24 hours but it may take longer than that to determine a winner.

The winner will be required to provide the winning logo in some type of vector format.

Please watermark each of your entries until I have paid for them.

I look forward to the designs.

Mr. Jinsue,

A logo as spread out as that makes it very difficult to transfer the logo from a website to a business card. Typically the less spread out a logo is the better in my book.

I think your logo needs more to it. Add something else, it seems to me to just be some words on a banner.

I like the simplicity but feel that it needs some type of object in it. Something that shows what the company is all about. Adding an object will spruce up the logo some.

This logo is going to be made into a big neon sign at the store so it needs to be something fairly simple, yet memorable. The company repairs computers and electronics.

Due to the fact that I have not yet found a logo that I really like this contest is being extended. I hope that a 24 hour extension will provide me with a logo that I like but it may go longer than that if there is nothing that I like.

I am looking for something high techy but I want more than just words, I need there to be some type of design, some type of object that the logo works around.

Hope to see some good stuff.

Gorgon,

In this contest your designs are looking too much like logo made on some quick logo making software. They don't have much color to them and the objects that you are using are just to generic, (the objects do relate to technology but they just don't stand out, they are too colorless and simple).

I think you area great designer, junt not falling in love with any of these designs.

I think yours are the two best of the contest so far. Xaralee, I wish you would put something into the design that is tech related. This company fixes electronics and nothing in your logo (except the words) would tell me that.

This design is going to be made into large neon letters to put over the store. I don't think your design looks good for that, it is too wide, too many dots and I am not fond of the colors.

IN all honesty I would redo the entire design. I just don't like it that much... I like logos that are compact, not spread out over something the size of a banner.

When I need a logo I need more than just words. I need something to associate the logo with what the company does.

thanks for your submission, I think I like it.

PFTH,

I don't want to take the time to walk a designer through it from th beginning. That is why I am having a contest.

1. Logo must look high tech
2. Must have a good color scheme (I don't really care what the colors are they just need to go together, a good example to look for this on are most of xaralees or Anidesigns designs, they are both great a getting complementary colors)
3. Must include some reference to what the business does. In this case it is a computer repair company, so some object that is related to computers or computer repair.

That is all the info that you need, if you can't produce a logo in this contest that I like following this criteria then I am sorry and better luck to you next time.

I wish you luck in designing something great but i don't have the time to comment extensively on each of your designs that you are asking me to.
