View Full Version : Using ePassporte Virtual Visa Card With PayPal: Authorization Failed

Hi,

When I was trying to make a payment on PayPal using the money from my ePassporte Virtual Visa card, it showed the following message:

"This payment cannot be completed because your credit card has been denied by your credit card issuer. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department. You may want to try using a different credit card or choose eCheck instead. To do this, please click the More Payment Options link."

The card was verified successfully at PayPal, but why I cannot fund PayPal payments with this ePassporte Virtual Visa?

Mid last year, I had the same problem and I asked ePassporte about it and they told me that they blocked paypal. You basically cannot use ePassporte with Paypal.

Yep - ePassporte and Paypal do not work together anymore

ePassporte is linked to many businesses Paypal does not accept

ePassporte is an offshore card. PayPal will not except any card they consider offshore. ePassporte I believe is issued from the camen islands.

and how about Moneybookers? do they accept ePassporte cc? anybody know?

You can't link your paypal account to an epassporte visa card (virtual or not)

If you're in trouble with epassporte anyway, you can contact Michael Olsen
