I'm trying to insert a casalemedia skyscraper into my site. The site is www.absolutelyipods.com, and i want to put the skyscraper immediately below the 4 links in the RIGHT SIDE "partner links" box.
When i put it in by editing the html code, the skyscraper shows up correctly in the "content" of the module editing page.
However, when i save and browse to my site, it instead displays this text:
" <a><img></a>"
Then, i go BACK to edit the module and what was the skyscraper has been replaced by that same text i just posted above. What might be going on? How can i get this working?
I actually asked about this on the joomla forums already and got no response, either because no one knew or no one cared :p

you should create a simple module for the ad, that will fix it

Set your site to no WYSIWYG editor in the global config when you paste the code.Save it as normal and it should work ok.Then you can turn the editor back on and will still be ok.

Alright, i just went ahead and did that, and i'm still having the same issue, where:
<a><img></a>
is what's showing up on the actual page, even though the ad skyscraper shows up in the module editing window. Was i supposed to put in any special setting for the module? I simply went to new module, and the only thing i changed was for it NOT to show the module title.

Alright one more question, generally with joomla, if you want to serve a popunder, where would you place that code?

Site -> Template Manager -> Site Templates. Select your current template and click on the 'Edit HTML' button at the top. Afterwards simply insert the necessary code in the template file.

Perfect. Alright last question since there since to be tons of joomla knowledge here...
If i have a SECOND joomla installation on another that is "fresh out of the box" so to speak, meaning i haven't changed any settings or made any mods yet. Is there an easy way to EAXCTLY copy over what i have for my first installation in terms of mods, modules, changes to code, etc, so that it would be the EXACT same thing, just minus the content?
My situation is that over time i've changed quite a few small things on a joomla install i have, and some of them i don't remember/don't know how to do (in the event someone else did them for me).

WYSIWYG is the problem. i think so. disable it for your user from user manager.

To my knowledge there is no easy transfer method dpakman91. It may be possible if you make a backup of the entire site, databases, etc... and then copy them over, but it might be more of a headache than it's worth.

You'll have to copy all files and the database as well. If you're unfamiliar how to do this, send me a PM, and I'll duplicate the site for you. I'll do it for free! ;)
