$55 Logo Contest "SixteenBars.com"

Hello All,
This contest is for a logo for a music site I have developed. The site background is black and the color theme is blue #006699. I really need the image/logo to be sharp. I have uploaded my attempt at creating a logo, but decided to leave it to the pros on DP. I cannot seem to make it look sharp on the black background. I have a few images behind the logo, so I need it to be on a transparent backing. The size is 550x75 px (if the logo is made smaller, it needs to be kept to the left). I also need the logo to be T-Shirt ready. Gonne be giving them away free!!!!
The font I used is nosegrind and it can be downloaded free at refont.com. (I am open to new designs) I would like it to have the same metallic finish as the superman example logo.
So, in a nut shell make my logo look like the superman logo, with a hint of blue (#006699) and you will be the man! or the woman! or both!
Payment will be made asap to the winner via PayPal.
I will need the PSD files and possible revisions.

PS. If you are up to the challenge you can make the logo a little smaller and add an image or two to the header.... Maybe reverse the rap logo and make the crowd ghost like.

Even though I haven't shown you here the logo with the transparent background, but the .PSD files are clearly labelled. (Did a large one for shirt design and then logo one at 450x75)

I cant seem to edit my post again, but yea. I updated the images.
The logos are now 550x75 like you asked.
And everything can easily be saved with a transparent background.
