$50 Logo Contest - Boxing Academy

Hey,

I got a client wants a logo doing for a boxing academy I don't have time to do loads of diff designs and thought a contest would cover that :)

Here is what I have

It is a Boxing Academy for youth to give them something to do. Would like a clean relevant logo that is good fro web and print.

Letter to be used in logo: TEBA
A nice relevant icon of some sort is also a good thing.

Suggested colors were: red, sky blue, silver, white
Doesn't have to have all four or even any if you have a better idea but use your design flare to judge that.

Needs to be provided at end in large 300dpi PSD or Illustrator Vector (preferred) winner will get $50 by paypal.

Any questions let me know and I will leave feedback and submit best entries to my client for review.

The same size small print: As with all work I outsource on the web, you will have to give up full rights to the design if you are the winner. You will not be able to place this in your portfolio because as far as the client is concerned my company are doing the design. If this does not work for you then I am sorry but don't enter. Apart from that good luck :)

technoguy: good start although I would say either the icon needs to be bigger or the letters smaller, it does not need the words boxing academy on it as thats what the last 2 letters stand for.

All: Remember it doesn't need any words or slogans just the letters TEBA and maybe an icon.

technoguy: I don't see a difference in scaling, just that the bottom text was removed.

Master.A: I don't like the use of real images for logo's the text is a good start though.

staniel: I like the concept but I think it could be done alot better, clean professional and modern looking.

Ariestoteles: thats really good, can you try something like that in lighter colors as mentioned.

Ok the client pulled out on me, I have been trying to chase them up but to no joy.

I will call a winneer myself and foot the bill. I will pay $25 because I don't want or need the design supplying. This will be the last time I run a contest for anyone but myself.
